Articulator is a classy now 9 year old by Quality Road. 31-8-7-2 with earning of $285k. He ran at Keeneland, Churchill Downs, Oaklawn, Gulfstream Park, Pimlico and many others. Looks like he is settling into retirement well. Lucky guy. And donations go to taking care of this guy as his injuries prevent him retraining to another discipline so a sanctuary horse that will most likely live out his days here.

Browntown Joy by Speightstown sold for 75k as a yearling and ran six races with two wins. With multiple injuries and on his way to an uncertain future as a broken gelding, he was transferred to our facility 6 years ago. He will live out his days here and loves when people visit!

Check out this cutie ready to be adopted! Catastrophic Force, is an AZ bred just turned 6yo who ran 8 times only hitting the board once. He’s very expressive and kind with a stocky handsome build that would look great under saddle. He has a small chip in his left knee that has not moved and he’s been sound on it the entire 3 years he’s been here. He has not been restarted yet but has had plenty of time to heal up and forget his racetrack days. This guy wants a job!! Anyone interested in seeing him please reach out.

Fantastic Mizz
Fantastic Mizz is a kind, lovely, smart athletic and classy 15 years old. She was purchased as a yearling for just 1k and raced every year for 5 years, 34 times and earned 247k. After being retired sound, she had 5 not so fast babies. Her owners, wanting to do right by her, decided to donate her as a sanctuary horse to our organization to ensure her twilight years were safe, loved and cared for. Unfortunately she suffers from worsening melanocytic tumors that we will continue to monitor. She’s well taken care of and getting the retirement she deserves with love, skill and dignity.

Lionite is an 9yo gelding by Quality Road. He was purchased for 330k as a yearling, ran 26 times and made 304k on the track. He suffered a fractured P1 bone and has had 3 years with time off and light bits of super sound work since. He is an absolutely lovely looking horse, very intelligent, willing and naturally athletic. He was started back under a Western saddle for a couple weeks and did great with that. I took him on as a project for a couple months. Worked a lot on rideability. He has been ridden by Manuela Propfe for a couple months and was started over small jumps. He’s currently turned out at our farm ready to get back to work. He travels 100% sound. He is forward, bold, kind and safe but is not suitable for a beginner. He has sport horse written all over him! Or he’d probably love to be a trail horse too. Per usual, we will be very selective with whom adopts him. Please message us if are interested. But please keep in mind we require that he goes to a professional or a qualified, experienced amateur or junior rider under the guidance of a professional. This horse will NEVER race again and we will only entertain interest of qualified horsemen and women. He is a good one!!

Never Easy
Never Easy by Candy Ride is a 7yo gelding out of the champion mare Wasted Tears and brother to Corniche the Eclipse Award winning 2yo male. He ran 22 times 2-3-5 and made $102,262. He was retired from racing with a bowed tendon and some pretty rough feet, which has now had over a year to heal. He will need some retraining, but this guy is big boned, sweet, smart, classy and is ready to go!
